# Create a Storefront API token

When working with the Storefront JS SDK you will need to generate a Storefront API token in your Firmhouse project first. A Storefront token can only be used to access **public** information about your project and to create and initiate subscription checkouts.

You can generate a Storefront token from ***Settings > Integrations*** page in your Firmhouse project.

### Steps

1. Log in to the Firmhouse admin portal.
2. Go to ***Settings > Integrations***.
3. Generate a new token and choose ***Storefront*** as access type.
4. Locate the new Storefront token and copy it to your clipboard.
